Life Will Set You Free
Lying in this meadow
Looking over the estuary
And a sea breeze blows
All the cobwebs away from me
The sun shines down
From a sky so blue
I feel at peace
And then I think of you
Lying in this meadow
I seem lost in eternity
And the ocean tells of
All the good things that I'll see
The world spins round
In a sky so blue
I feel so calm
And then I think of you
Lying in this meadow
I wish you were here with me
As the sea breeze blows
We could just simply be
The sun shines down
From a sky so blue
Am I in love
Am I in love with you
Wind of Change
Blowing through my life
Wind of Change
Blowing through my world
I see horizons
I've never seen before
Through a Wind of Change
Wind of Change

Dan says: "This was written in 1995, about the same time as Sunset Run, and 2 years before the third song born of the same mother. I had just fallen in love with a lady called Tricia. We had got it together pretty soon after she joined my band at the time as a vocalist. She was one horny lady. She was 42 at the time and I was her 90th lover! But she also proved to be one of the most arrogant, self centred, critical and thoroughly unpleasant ladies that I have ever met! I hate to destroy the illusion of the blissful vibe depicted in the song, but that was before I had got to know her, and lived with her for just 2 weeks! The setting is a meadow near the River Avon, beyond Leigh Woods and the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol."
